Wedding Party

Alyssa and Julia have known each other their entire lives, as their moms are also best friends. They are very lucky that they love each other, cause they would have spent a ton of time together either way! They share a slightly obsessive love for cats, enjoy a good glass of wine together, and have the easy understanding of a lifelong friendship.

Christian and Cameron met freshman year at SDSU, sitting next to each other in a film screening class. They lived together (with Julia and Groomsman Chris) after graduating, where they raised Cameron’s puppy Courage and enabled their mutual addiction of playing far too many hours of video games that continues to this day. Christian took the above beauty shot of Cameron and Courage!

Jordan and Julia first meant in fourth grade, but became close in eighth grade and high school. They backpacked across Europe together between sophomore and junior year of college, and still love to go on adventures together. Recently Jordan visited Julia in Hawaii and they went swimming in the open ocean with wild dolphins. 

Julia and Paula met at San Diego State when they lived on the same dorm floor freshman year. They bonded early and lived together for the rest of college, supporting each other, and spending as much time as possible at the beach. Nowadays they meet up for weekends here and there where they don’t stop talking the entire time. 

Christian and Chris met freshman year at SDSU, when they both thought they had already broken into the industry when they were invited to help an upperclassman on their class assignment (the upperclassman ran over Chris’s foot with his car and they were in fact many years away from the industry). They later worked together in the Film Equipment Checkout room, where they spent a majority of work hours playing frisbee outside. After living together, Chris introduced Christian to what has become an unhealthy obsession with D&D.

First meeting in grad school, Julia and Gaby really became close during the last year while working on their thesis, when Gaby helped Julia overcome her procrastination and Julia helped Gaby take lots of breaks. Post school, they still work on projects together, while also going camping and spending as much time outside as possible.

Elyssa and Julia met as co-workers, and eventually worked together on the same desk, which means they shared a cubicle for a year and basically a brain. They love learning new things together, and spending time not at work. Elyssa is a great listener, and Julia is really good at talking.

A close friend of both Christian and Julia, Annette met them both in film school, in the same class. The three lived together during grad school and during the early months of the pandemic, so Annette got the pleasure of Christian and Julia’s company 24/7. Ask her about it, she’ll tell you how wonderful we are to be around!  

The light of our lives! Who knew you could love two cats so much! Merry & Pippin won't be at the wedding, because they would hate it, but rest assured they are equally miserable at home, just waiting for mom & dad to get back.
